We would like to address the recent strike by the International Longshoremen’s Association (ILA) union.
Flexcon’s procurement team has been working with our suppliers to understand the potential impact. The good news is that at this time, we have no evidence to suggest that the strike will affect the ports we rely on, or raw materials we require.
We have been in direct contact with our suppliers and logistics partners for weeks and have contingency plans in place should anything change.
Current State:
- Suppliers have indicated that there is no anticipated impact.
- Flexcon Shipments:
- North America and Europe: currently no impact
- Asia: We have contingency plans in place for shipments. We will communicate any change in lead times to impacted customers.
